We have been studying the ‘Dare to Be Different’ theme during our reading project the last two weeks. Yesterday, we dressed up as characters or people who have Dared to be Different and inspired us to be different!
We complete carousel activities where we could listen to an audio book, create our own character to add to our class book, completed a book review of our book and cooked.
As part of the reading project, we have studied Mae Jemison and cooked our version of space food-a Mug cake (which some of us found tasted different and funny but we enjoyed the cooking part!). We have also designed our very own advert for our Mug cake.
We cannot wait for our parents, teachers and the school to see all the wonderful work we have completed at the Reading Exhibition.
