Many thanks to Mrs Hull for organising some lovely events across the school. On Monday, we were treated to Street Dance sessions with Bex and on Thursday we had our Cheerleading sessions with Mrs Lawes.
Needless to say, both proved extremely popular and it was great to see the children enjoying these activities and entering into the spirit of things.
Safer Internet Day was on Tuesday and we held class assemblies considering this important subject. Our discussions were mature and sensible and showed just what a great understanding our children have of this topic.
Mindfulness colouring has also proven popular as a way of calming ourselves before the next session.
We are delighted by the progress the children have made in maths since September: extremely well done, everyone!
Our printing sessions have come to an end and we are really looking forward to sharing our Mayan-based work with you at our Outcome; the double-printing techniques have been very effective.
In English, we have written some extremely thoughtful balanced arguments on a topic of choice and we have also read the first three chapters of “Pig Heart Boy” by Malorie Blackman, in preparation for our narrative unit after half term.
Here’s wishing you a happy and relaxing week ahead!
