We’ve had another busy week!
Both prospective parent tours have been extremely successful. The children in both classes have loved showing the parents around and we have had so many lovely messages of thanks. It’s great that the children have the confidence to carry out this really important task; we are proud of them. Some children even got a particular message of thanks in an email from particular parents and this is extremely pleasing.
On Thursday, everyone had their individual photographs taken and Friday saw our cross-country representatives leave for the afternoon. As I write this, they have not returned but I’m sure that, as usual, they will have tried their best.
We had an enjoyable science session earlier in the week; the children demonstrated their existing knowledge of electrical circuits and developed this by drawing accurate diagrams with the correct components.
Our English lessons have been spent in planning for the narrative writing which will take place over the next couple of weeks. Please encourage your child to give a little thought to their story; if they have a clear idea of how it will end, the more convincing it will be.
On Friday, we welcomed a wide variety of Pudseys and casual clothes. We would like to thank you for supporting Children In Need and I am sure that we will give you an update on the amount of money we have raised at some point in the near future.
