Hello from another successful week in year 6!
We were so lucky to visit Hitchin Girls School on Tuesday to participate in the “Hidden in the Light” workshop run by Mr Derrett.
Spruce and Beech loved using the Bunsen burners to see the different coloured flames produced by burning different chemicals. It was a wonderful taste of things to come in year 7 and we were delighted with how sensible and interested our children were in a new environment.
On the same morning, the Phase team paid us another visit to deliver their Easter Cracked workshop.
In addition to this, we have produced some individual Marine Biome work, continued our Tennis sessions and learned new songs with Mr Frowde in music.
As mathematicians we have learned about properties of circles and polygons and in English we chose our own character and wrote a creative monologue from their point of view.
We are very much looking forward to sharing our term’s learning with you at the Outcome next Wednesday.
