As writers, we have been inspired by the text ‘Leon and the Place Between’ and have written our own descriptive pieces of writing explaining what the place between is like.

As mathematicians, we learnt about representing numbers as Roman numerals up to 100. We have also started learning about rounding to the nearest 10 and 100 using the rule:

As scientists, we planned and conducted an experiment to explore what happens to the volume of an object the further away you are. We went on the field and used a trundle wheel to measure distances away from the the bell, then recorded how loudly we could hear it.

As historians, we learnt about Julius Caesar and made timelines about his rise to power.
In PSHE, we learnt all about the UN and the UNCRC (United Nations convention on rights of a child). We explored pictures and discussed how they linked to different articles in the UNCRC.
